The holiday park is perfectly situated close to Wellington CBD, making it convenient for ferry access and local attractions. The bathrooms and kitchen facilities were clean and well-maintained, but the noise from the kitchen cabins was a downside. The staff were really helpful and provided great ideas for getting around, which added to our experience. Although the price is reasonable, I found that certain accommodations could use some improvement.

Rooms
6.0
The kitchen cabins were quite noisy, which made it hard to relax. Additionally, the room felt cramped with two sets of bunks, especially when shared with others.

The front office staff were lovely and always had a smile on their face, ready to help with tips and information about the area.

My experience at the hotel was quite mixed. While the jumping pillow was a hit and the location was convenient for accessing Wellington, I found the noise from motorbikes disturbing, and the unaddressed maintenance issues were frustrating. The cabin was adequate for one adult but would be a tight fit for three. Overall, it was affordable but fell short in some key areas.

Rooms
6.0
The cabin was tiny but functional. It had a bunk bed and a standalone bed, which felt precarious for anyone over 50kg. The overall cleanliness was good, but the shared areas needed more attention, and the kitchen TV was not working.
Service
5.0
I was disappointed with the service regarding my noise complaint. Promises were made to resolve the issue, but nothing was done. On a positive note, I appreciated the confirmation of my early check-in when my room was ready.
Location

The location is decent for getting to Wellington, but it’s not very relaxing due to the noise from nearby motorbikers and traffic. It’s close to major roads which made access easy.
Dining
Facilities

Facilities like the jumping pillow were fun for kids, but there were clear issues with cleanliness in shared spaces, like the dirty ovens and non-functional kitchen TV.

I had a solid experience at this campground. It was clean and tidy, and I appreciated the spacious shower cubicles. However, my stay was affected by a noisy large group nearby, which disrupted the peace on several nights. Overall, I found it to be a great spot for families with plenty for kids to enjoy, but the noise was a downside that impacted my comfort.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were on the smaller side, making it a bit cramped with two sets of bunks, and there wasn't much space for luggage.
Service
7.0
The service was generally good, but I did notice some delays when it came to addressing the noise complaints.
Location

Although the location has an industrial feel and you need to drive to access other facilities, it was still quite convenient for exploring the area.

The communal facilities were well-maintained and clean, especially the bathrooms which felt like they were from a hotel.

I found the hotel to be a decent option for the price, with a comfortable atmosphere and adequate facilities. The cabins were clean and relatively spacious, making it a good fit for families. However, my experience was somewhat marred by rowdy guests during a concert event, which affected the overall enjoyment of my stay. Despite this, I appreciated the amenities and the self-contained nature of our cabin, which offered great value for money.

Rooms

The cabin we stayed in was quite spacious and well-appointed, featuring a tidy kitchen and comfortable beds. However, there was an unpleasant smoke smell upon arrival that housekeeping helped address swiftly.
Service
9.0
The staff were helpful and responsive, especially regarding the smoke issue. The shuttle service to the concert was also a nice touch.
Location

The hotel is conveniently located near a shopping area and is easily accessible from the motorway. However, the gravel site offered little in terms of privacy.

The facilities were quite functional, with communal kitchens and laundry services. The cabin's amenities were satisfactory for our needs.

I had a very enjoyable stay here, with clean and spacious amenities making me feel at home. The location is quite convenient for accessing downtown Wellington without the hassle of parking. Although my overall experience was lovely, I did encounter some issues with Wi-Fi connectivity that dampened my stay slightly. Nonetheless, the friendly staff and the calm atmosphere created by the roaming ducks really added to the enjoyment of the experience.
